Max on Life Book Review

Thought this was a good book.  A book that can be taken as a whole work, or used as a chapter by chapter thing done daily or weekly.  Good straight forward answers that can be understood and applied, and that are helpful to the one who is reading.  Would recommend as a read for almost anyone.  Seems to stay in line with all other works by this author, so if you like them, pick this book up.

ragamuffin gospel

I just read the ragamuffin gospel by brennan manning.  It is an encouraging book for those of us who call ourselves believers.  Yes, we are all indeed ragamuffins in need of a Savior.  Thanks for writing this book for us to be encouraged by.  You can tell that much research was put into the writing of this book.  Easy to read, but yet still deep enough to make you think.

We Be Big Book review

This was a great book, easy to read for any average Joe.  It is an honest look at the humble beginnings of one of the funniest radio shows on the air.  I was grateful that it wasn't your typical I was always perfect look at celebrity.  I also appreciate their honesty in seeking the guidance of God in their career and family decisions.  We would all be better off if we also did this in our daily personal and public lives.  Two thumbs up!!

book review-couples who pray together

I believe that the intention of this book is at heart good.  I don't like that I felt like the famous people were sometimes emphasized more than the topic.  That being said, I think the challenge to pray with your spouse for forty days is great.  The questions the ask you to answer seem to be pretty good, and I look forward to praying thru the forty day challenge with my wife.

It's thawing!

Ok so it looks like we're gonna thaw out finally, the trees are dripping and the sun is out!  Hope all made it thru the last few days and are ready to go back to school.  Keep up with your reading, He wants to speak to us thru it!
